This section is for discussion of anything Oldsmobile related. "Oldsmobile related" does specifically encompass Ransom Eli Olds. My particular knowledge is centered around the early 60's era Oldsmobiles; having owned or been involved with a 1960, 1961, 1962 (currently owned) 1963 and a 1967 model.
There is a ton of Oldsmobile information on my SAVED62 web site, which may provide answers to some of your questions. Do check it out: http://www.freewebs.com/jeandaveyaros
We also have a web site devoted to The Gray Lady; being our latest acquisition, a 1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The Gray Lady may be viewed at GrayLady.WebNg.com

This section is for a discussion about Gary, Indiana. It may be about things good, or things bad. Dave's Den contains an extensive presentation of Gary related information. It will take some time to review it all.
Any discussion of Gary requires a recognition that the perspective of one who lived there shall be far different from that of a person merely driving through on the way to some place else.
Believe it or not, Gary was a very good place to live and work in the 50's and 60's. Having said that, I must also admit that, sadly, those days are now long gone.

This section is for a discussion of the steel making process, and the steel industry in general. Dave's Den, provides a primer on how steel is made and takes you on a tour of the steel mills.
My interest in this area arises from having been a steelworker at U.S. Steel - Gary Works; as was my father and his father.

On the Officer Down! pages of Dave's Den, one may read about the event, the trial, the appeals and review the legal opinions rendered.

Jackie Wilson - "Mr Excitement"
This section is for a discussion of all things relating to the late, great singer Jackie Wilson. On the Jackie Wilson page of Dave's Den you will find a bio, discography and music clips. Jackie Wilson was, and is, my favorite recording artist. The man could belt out a ballad, sing the blues or do R & B or soul like no one else! That he could is but one of the reasons he was known in the industry as "Mr. Excitement."
